Stamped cardboard Heart

These were great fun to make.
Cut the cardboard into hearts, then paint with an ordinary household matt emulsion.
To distress, lightly sand the face and the edges with a fine glass paper.
Decorate with inked stamps, when dry apply a light coat of a matt water based varnish.
Finally take a length of jute or fine ribbon, make a loop and stitch by machine at the top/reverse of the heart
These little darlings were used to decorate the window of a chocolate shop on the Kings road London
