Not a terribly exciting image but worth showing all the same, taken whilst selecting some new stock for the shop, i came across this little beauty. A period cast iron fire back, just ready for the winter months and of course the "C" word which is still to early to mention. Perfect for cozying up in front of whilst watching the flames flicker and sipping a good rich hot chocolate.....Price on application, best to be sitting down, it is of course a small fortune, but when a piece is several hundred years old would you expect anything less?

First Come First Served - Saturday 24th October
We are having a weekend of lucky dip, the only difference being, not wrapped in newspaper, or in a barrel of wood shavings.
Instead 20 items chosen from our vast selection of antique architectural stock, will be laid out and the first 20 of you good folk can take away one piece for only £20 (one purchase per person)
This could be a bundle of victorian matchoarding, a 19th century chimney pot, an oak beam or a stained leaded glass window.
Each piece will have a retail value of £45 - £100
All you need to do is call or text to register your visit this Saturday, this obviously applies to the first twenty only.
As an added treat if you spend £100 you will be able to choose from the "LUCKY DIP" seletion free of charge.....
Good Luck to the first 20 to register

A glimmer of shiny shiny in a world gone mad...
After a rather tedious few days spent in Wales, back with a bit between my teeth after the realisation that the so called professional academic sphere are a hopeless case of lost causes, incompitence it seems is a requisite....
Surely it is better to do one thing well, than to do a dozen things badly......

Gentlemens relish
Well not quite, "Conan Doylesque" potted chocolate and vanilla scented candles, decorated with advertisments from old vintage copies of The London Illustrated News. A slightly masculine feel, portraying cars, woodwork and smoking, very stereotypical but gorgeous none the less, a touch of Penhaligans with a twist of Rococo chocolates, in Weedon who would have thought it, each come with a manilla handmade gift tag...
